A Mystic Fall
I took this photo of the pond outside the Madigan Library at Pennsylvania College of Technology. It was in the beginning of a fall semester, so it was a bright and warm day. I laid my camera on the rock straight across from the waterfall. I wanted to capture the foreground right against the water. I had my speed on my camera settings to where the water movement was showing but looked as if it was a cloud of water.

Road Side
For this photo, I laid on my stomach, on the sidewalk, to capture the road and what was across from me. This setting is across from the Field House at Pennsylvania College of Technology. In the warmer weather, they decorate our PCT sign with these beautiful flowers. I wanted to capture the brightness and beauty that takes over campus.

Something in Orange
My photo of these flowers is in front of the Victorian House on campus at Pennsylvania College of Technology. This house has various types of flowers surrounding the exterior of the building. I focused on the flowers themselves and blurred the vanishing point of the fence in the background.

Through the Glass
This photo was created with my little sister and our dad’s Michael Myers mask and hammer. It was taken during the time of Halloween, so it seemed fitting to the time and theme. I captured this from outside of our kitchen window, while she sat on our counter. I used black and white to capture the darkness and creepy feeling.

Look First
For this photo, I added our mom to the scene and switched out the hammer for a toy chainsaw. It was a real action of my mom cleaning, not telling her that my sister was standing there. The suspense was real, and my sister was waiting for the curtain to be pulled back. I used the dark color filter on the outside of the photo and highlighted the curtain to draw the attention to the movement.

Watch Your Back
This scene was taken out of the typical horror movie theme where the victims are always oblivious to the killer. I had my sister stand behind my mom (sitting on the couch) with calm movements to show the viewer that they can interpret what happens next. I had the lights off, but the lamps on to still create the darkness and shadows on the mask.

Cowboy Afternoon
This photo was created with a bourbon bottle and cup, wood, and my cowboy hat. I added the liquid to the bottle and tipped it at an angle, towards the hat. This is a reference to cowboys drinking and it looks like it is, just without the person.
-
Golden Soul
I added paint brushes and a watch to this image of the bottle and glass because I think it was a good way to add a personal connection for my love of art. These two subjects or objects are not normally seen together and I think that is waht makes it unique.
-
Too Much
I wanted to have the wood in with the bottle because it adds that rough feeling and texture to the image. This is a balance of the drink being smooth and the wood (enviornment) being rough.

Gambler Still Life
This image was for the most part original, but I worked with using generative fill for the cards and the ash tray. I wanted to capture and create that western “cowboy” feeling.
-
Princess and Pauper
This was one of my favorite images to capture. I used fake flowers and glasses of water to bring out the colors, while clearly separating them from each other.
-
Melt Down
In order to get this image, I froze two energy drinks in water to give them these ice bases. I matched the color of flowers to the drinks and set them up to touch, but not overlap.
